Backpacks & Snax is run by Ben and Amy. This page covers backpacksandsnax.com, backpacksandsnax.shop and backpacksandsnax.club. The short version: these sites collect almost nothing about you.

What these sites do not do

• No cookies.
• No analytics, ad pixels or tracking scripts.
• No session recording or keystroke logging.
• No sign-up forms or accounts yet.
• Fonts and images load from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google or any other third party to show these pages.

What our host logs

The sites are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs the IP address of every visitor for security purposes, whether or not you have a GitHub account. We cannot see or control those logs. See the GitHub Pages data collection notice and the GitHub Privacy Statement.

If you email us

If you write to info@backpacksandsnax.com, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply. We don't add you to any mailing list, and we never sell or share your information. Our email is hosted by Microsoft 365 through GoDaddy.

Links to other sites

Links to Instagram, Linktree, Google Maps and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Those apply once you leave our pages.

Children

These sites are meant for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

Wherever you live, including California and Canada, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@backpacksandsnax.com and we'll answer within 30 days.

Changes

Before we add a newsletter, a shop checkout or a members' area, we'll update this page to say exactly what each one collects. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
